Water a plant, time a chore, fix a mistake, and find out what it feels like when people can count on you.

This five-day character education unit gives you a ready-to-teach plan for Littles (K-3), Middles (4-6) and Bigs (7-8), for siblings or a mixed classroom. Littles adopt a plant, practice "I'm sorry, I'll fix it," and tally how many toys they can tidy in one minute. Middles learn the steps for owning a mistake, compare estimated and actual chore times on a bar graph, and build a fair share job wheel with division. Bigs map their 168-hour week in a pie chart, set up a planner with a money page, write about paid chores, and do a real community job. Every level gets a note for the grown-up with words to practice together.
