MEET THE RINGMASTER

hi, I'm

Gigi, the Ringmaster of Quaintly Curious, smiling in a pastel ruffle collar with balloons

I grew up under a big top of books. My mom was a teacher, and our house was always full of picture books, library stacks, half-finished craft projects and at least one science experiment growing on the windowsill. Dinner-table conversations started with ‘I was reading about…’ and ended with all of us running for the encyclopedia.

Mom had a gift for turning any story into an adventure. A book about owls became a night walk. A book about bread became a whole Saturday of kneading, measuring and eating our mistakes. I didn’t know it then, but she was teaching me that learning feels best when it feels like a show you can’t wait to see.

Now I’m the one with the stacks of picture books (my library card has seen things), and Quaintly Curious is my way of passing that magic on. Every season of The Big Top is planned the way my mom would have done it: one great theme, a pile of wonderful books, and something hands-on for every age at the table, from your littlest Little to your biggest Big.

So pull up a chair, grab the popcorn and step right up. I’m so glad you’re here.

Gigi, your Ringmaster
