Sound familiar?

You said yes to homeschooling. Now what?

  • You have 47 browser tabs open about state laws, curriculum reviews and "homeschool styles."
  • You found a beautiful schedule online, and it fell apart by Wednesday.
  • Your kids are different ages and all need something different, at the same time.
  • A quiet little voice keeps asking, "What if I mess this up?"

You don't need more information. You need a plan you can actually follow. That's this planner.

A note from Gigi

Welcome, friend. You can do this.

I grew up in my mom's kindergarten classroom, curled up in the reading corner with a stack of library books. The biggest lesson she taught me wasn't on any chart: the best teachers are the most curious ones. You don't need to know everything. You need to be willing to say, "I don't know, let's find out."

When my own two kids came along, they were the kind of bright that keeps a parent on their toes. They finished things fast, asked a hundred questions before breakfast and needed to be busy. Our whole family has ADHD, so I learned quickly that a beautiful plan only works if it bends.

This planner is the toolkit I wish I'd had in my first year: the checklists that keep you legal and organized, the rhythms that make days feel calm, and the pages that turn one good book into a week of real learning for every age at your table.

Pages families love most

Small pages, big relief

One book, five days

Our favorite planning trick: one picture book carries a whole week of reading, writing, science, a hands-on project and Show & Tell Friday.

Routine blocks, not clock times

Minute-by-minute schedules break the first time someone loses a shoe. Blocks bend, so your day still flows.

The hard-day reset

Some days the tent wobbles. This page gives you a simple script to follow, in order, so you can start the afternoon fresh.

One planner, the whole family

Pages for every level

Most planners assume you're teaching one child. This one was made for a table full of different ages.

Littles · K-3

A sample day of 30 to 45 minutes of focused lessons, picture schedule cards and a reading shelf to color in.

Middles · 4-6

A sample day of 60 to 90 minutes, a daily checklist they can finish on their own and a reading log.

Bigs · 7-8

A sample day of 90 to 120 minutes, a plan-my-own-week page and a project planner.

Our five-day rhythm

The rhythm behind everything we make

Use it as is, or change it to fit your family. Either way, everyone knows what's coming.

  1. MONDAY

    Reading

Start the week with a great book.

  2. TUESDAY

    Writing & Words

Words, stories and spelling from the book.

  3. WEDNESDAY

    Science & Math

    Questions the book sparked, explored.

  4. THURSDAY

    Hands-on Project

    Make, build, bake or create.

  5. FRIDAY

    Show & Tell

    Everyone shares what they made.

Questions

Good questions, answered

THE LITTLE DETAILS

Your questions, answered.

Is it dated?

No. Every page is undated, so you can start any month and print it again next year.

Do I have to print all 115 pages?

Please don't! Pick the pages that help and leave the rest. Many families print Part 1 first, then add planning pages as they go.

What size is it?

US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches). It prints beautifully at home in color or black and white. You can also write on it in a PDF annotation app on a tablet.

I'm not brand new. Is it still useful?

Yes. The rhythm, planning, records and Care for You pages work in any year. The Getting Started section is a lovely reset if your first year felt bumpy.

Does it include lessons or curriculum?

No. It's your planning, rhythm and records toolkit. If you'd like the lessons planned for you too, that's what our Lesson Plans and Book Plans are for.

Can I use it for all my kids?

Yes. Print as many copies of any page as your own family needs. Level pages are included for Littles, Middles and Bigs.

How do I get it?

It's a digital download. You'll get your PDF right after checkout. Nothing ships.
