This five-day history unit gives you a ready-to-teach plan for three levels, Littles (K-3), Middles (4-6) and Bigs (7-8), for siblings or a mixed classroom. Each day follows the same rhythm: Reading, Writing and Words, Science and Math, Hands-on Project, then Friday Show and Tell. Littles explore life on the Mayflower and build a model wetu. Middles compare daily life in a Wampanoag homesite and Plymouth Colony side by side. Bigs read the Mayflower Compact and Edward Winslow's 1621 letter as primary sources. Every level includes the Wampanoag point of view and a gentle look at the myths.
